PVC Roofing Installation in Greater Seattle and Tacoma

Mechanically attached system uses polyester reinforced PVC roof membrane. The membrane is fastened directly into the structural deck in any mechanically attached configuration.


System Description


The PVC material is fastened under the seam overlap along one long side of the membrane directly into the roof deck. The adjacent membrane roll overlaps are then heat-welded with a hot-air welder. The advantage of this type of system is speed of installation and simplicity of design. This system is usually more cost-effective than a fully adhered system

This system utilizes a high-strength polyester reinforcement that allows the material to exceed Factory Mutual requirements for wind uplift testing. The manufacturing process imparts dimensional stability and eliminates water-wicking by the reinforcement. The membrane is lacquer-coated on the weathering surface for dirt resistance. It is available in white and in other colors.

1. PVC membrane is rolled out on roof surface

2. Screws and plates are used to fasten down both insulation board and PVC membrane to roof substrate.

3. PVC flashings are hand welded

4. Membrane is overlapped and welded to form a watertight seam
